The Secret of Monkey Island: SE Achievements Revealed (sort of) Posted by Junior Comments: 0
Many of us have been wondering what the achievements for The Secret of Monkey Island: SE will be like. Well, wonder no more, because they have been revealed. And they are all.....secret. How appropriate.
Now, I don't know if you're familiar with the concept. In a nutshell, developers sometimes include secret achievements so that players cannot willingly unlock them: There's no way to find out what to do and accordingly you can only get those achievements by chance. We'll keep you updated as passionate players unlock the achievements when the game is released.

Monkey Island: Sepecial Edition Released July 15th Posted by Junior Comments: 0
According to 1up.com, The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition will be released on July 15th - more than a week after the release of the first episode of Tales of Monkey Island. Now, we at milegend.com aren't experts of marketing and advertising, but wouldn't it make sense to release the game prior to TellTale's work? Especially when it's obvious that the game is already finished? Keep in mind, though, that the release date hasn't been officially confirmed yet.

Kotaku Previews TMI: Episode 1 Posted by Junior Comments: 0
Kotaku.com has published a small preview of the upcoming first episode of Tales of Monkey Island. Among other things, it contains some critical remarks on the game's control scheme:
"Right now, you can use the keyboard to move around, but you still need the mouse to click stuff and manipulate your inventory. The alternative is to click and hold the left mouse button to bring up a red direction arrow over Guybrush. Dragging the mouse in this mode will make Guybrush walk steadily in whatever direction the mouse is moving toward. It's still a bit twitchy, and it would be nice if you didn't have to hold the left button down; but there's still plenty of time for the development team to figure it out." Read the full preview here. |
